Logitech mouse problems

Hi All,

currently using a logitech freedom cordless keyboard and mouse. No problem with keyboard, but the game doesnt recognise the scroll wheel on the mouse for some reason. Tried going into control settings, but it doesnt recognise any mouse wheel up or mouse wheel down commands.

If i plug a standard ps2 mouse into my machine, the game picks up the wheel straight away and I have no problem in scrolling the weapons menu and so on in the game.

Anyone got any clues as to what i can do to get the scroll wheel working with this mouse? All drivers for the mouse/keyboard are the most recent, and my game has been patched to 1.46.

That is a problem with the Logitech Mouseware drivers -- if you uninstall them and use Microsoft's mouse drivers that come with Windows instead, the mouse wheel will work fine.

I have also heard that selecting the Microsoft Office compatible scrolling behavior in the driver's control panel applet solves the problem, but I can't confirm this.

Tried the microsoft compatible settings in the mouse properties, but it didnt work for me.

Will uninstall the drivers though and use standard microsoft ones.
