Vilayer - horrible company

I wanted to post here so others dont make the same mistake as I have. I rented a server from these people and as long as you play and dont bother them everything is fine. Once you start to turn in tickets and ask questions is when the problems start. On my first server i was having issues with safes getting the items deleted on certain sever restarts, I turned in a ticket and received some smart ass responce, i turned in another ticket and 2 days went by before i got a responce that was so irrelavent i had to turn in another ticket, next thing you know i hop on my server and all bases on the server were gone, i went to restore my back ups and non of the back ups were there and let me tell you i back up my server every two days so i had a list of 20 backups. I then turned in a ticket complaining and all of the suddenly my server was no longer available on any of the launchers, you couldnt even find it using the arma search engine. i called it quits, told them to F**k off.... A year went by and I decided to open an Arma3 Epoch server, i figured its been over a year the company must of had some improvements. LOL I opened up the server and I needed help with my battleye lines, for some reason couldnt get battleye to put messages on the screen. I turned in a ticket with my lines in the ticket so they could look at it and let me know what i did wrong, well all i got was a link to battleye site. I read the site and tried again and a no go so i turned in another ticket, almost a day later I received some vaugue answer not helping at all, i turned in another ticket and then the tech said he didnt know why it was working that he was going to turn in the ticket to a tech in a higher level, a day later the tech says its working but never looks at my lines in battleye to help me with what i really need, i tried again and couldnt get it to work. I turned another ticket in, 2 days later i received a responce saying that his lines are working so i log into the server and i have a message going every second so i modified the message and it didnt work. I figured since im paying these bossos money they least they can do is fix my lines in battleye, so i turn in another ticket with my lines and explaining exactly what i needed, never got a responce back. that same day my sever stops showing up on any of the launchers again, hmmm a coincidence? No the same thing is happening as it did over a year ago, these fagg*ts do the same fuc**ng thing when you turn in too many tickets. Instead of just fixing my problems or rewritting my battleye lines they choose to play their little game and so i cancelled the service and went with gtx gaming which i havent had any issues at all so far.

Learn from my mistakes and keep away from this company, they play their head games and when you cancel they just answer with their generic message, "we hope you keep us in mind on your next hosting needs" and also when you turn in that you are having an issue with your server their favorite responce after they fix their problem from their end is "we are looking at your server and everything seems to be working fine", instead of saying hey we were having so and so problem and its been taken care of they will never admit to having any kind of issues and will always just send you the generic responce.

Never again, hope you learn from my experience.

I can't say I share your experience when it comes to Vilayer. I've rented a DayZ Epoch server from them last year and I currently have a VPS running there. I don't have the DayZ Epoch server anymore but that has always run without a single issue, same for the VPS.

Also, spamming any support with tickets isn't going to do you much good, they even mention it on their site I think.

Vilayer is not Battleye so it makes sense that they refer you to the Battleye site if you're trying to set up filters. A lot of people try to run a server without learning about what they have to do. The fact that you pay Vilayer for a service doesn't entitle you to support for 'everything' as you seem to think. And if his lines were working (as you confirmed yourself) and it stops working when you make changes, you're the one messing up, not them.

If you don't mind posting the filter you were trying to, maybe I or someone else on these forums can tell you what was wrong.

They responded and fixed an issue I had created on my part in my own novice experience with servers. In a very quick time frame the ticket was responded to.

I was skeptical about what company to rent a server from. So far I don't have any major complaints about the server, ping, company. I got a 30 slot high priority A3 server from them.

I used them in the past and found them to be very helpful.

I did have teething problems at the start with the server, but that was down to me making stupid errors.

They managed to fix and have it up and running in a short time.

Kept the server for a few months and never really had a problem with them.

Ive also used gtx gaming aswell and also found them to be very good.
