Badwolf466 1 Posted August 18, 2014 Greetings, Recently, I believe it was after the last update, I have been having so much trouble with ArmA 3 servers on linux. The server works perfectly when there are no AI involved, for example when we play PvP, it's great and performs wonderfully, however, whenever AI is involved, it works, until you engage the AI. The AI can fire at you, can move and all the rest, but whenever you engage them, I get "segmentation error (Core Dumped)", and the server crashes. I get no other error messages aside from the segmentation error. So far I've tried setting up a server on Ubuntu 14 and CentOs 7. Both of which have segmentation errors. The thing that is puzzling me so far is that this happens whenever mods are loaded. I've tried it with a number of different mods, all enabled separately, ACRE and AGM are two examples. The server runs fine when it's on vanilla with no mods enabled. I'm wondering if I am missing a package or something for linux? If you need anymore information then please feel free to ask, this is really puzzling me and effecting my groups gameplay in a massive way.
torndeco 128 Posted August 18, 2014 Don't forget linux is case sensitive. I had issue were it would crash seg-fault what seemed like randomly if i used @A3MP. To solve my problem i had to change all the files to lowercase...... no more crashes / seg-fault
