My resistance install experience

well its installed and its fantastic but i did have a bit of trouble

i installed resistance while i had various campaigns installed i.e pmc fury vietnam1969 tonnes of addons and ifound that when i played resistance it was very stuttery and my mouse took an age to react. I had to turn down screen res to 800x600 16bit colour to get it playable but still stuttering

so

i decided to go for a fresh install with just the original game and reinstall resistance, graphics set to 1024x780 32bit, view distance is set to 1000, terrain details fps everything else is cranked right up, and joy of joys the game runs sweet as hell.

i know its said in a thread in here that there is no need for fresh install but personally i found it has made a big difference getting rid of everything and restarting new install.

Thanks to bis for another superb job done, i cant beleive the difference in terrain, colours, everything, im well impressed and after just 4 hours sleep i had alarm set to get back up to continue on with the campaign.

ive recently cleared away almost all of my unofficial addons, it helps a lot.

but im going to do a reinstallation of ofp when i get ofpr just for the hell of it.

by the way, hilandor, what are your system specs.
