ReVee 10 Posted June 10, 2014 Hi, I usually host missions for my friends on my computer, which involves putting up a multiplayer server. The thing is, I know that previously it was able to port-forward on it's on, ensuring that I could actually host it. With Gamespy gone, is this ability not possible? I haven't been able to get in and do any manual port forwarding lately, so I don't want to be stuck unable to host missions.
DieselJC 196 Posted June 14, 2014 Use the LAN option and have your friends connect directly.

ReVee 10 Posted June 24, 2014 Well, when using internet it automatically port forwarded that shit. Now my friends can't join because it's not port forwarded for me. LAN means local area network, and half my friends kind of live 3 states away (not very local :p) Is there a workaround minus going into the router?
L3TUC3 32 Posted July 3, 2014 Not really, besides getting tungle or hamachi. Setting up the ports takes less time.
