OlympusMons 10 Posted March 15, 2014 (edited) Hey guys. I'm running into an odd problem. I landed a small rover in Gale Crater, and find that I cannot reach the target that allows me to continue the mission. I get the "Explore Complete!" message, and then the target stays underneath me. Strangest part is I can drive around and it will follow me. I have tried this mission 3 times, happened each time. Distance reads as 0 cm. The distance changed occasionally, sometimes was 1cm, but even when I am am at d=0, it does not seem to register that I have reached it. http://i.imgur.com/RkwMpRh.png (3364 kB) For some reason it never registers that I reached the target... and so I cant go on to take photos and measurements to complete the mission. Thales 45 Posted March 17, 2014 Hello OlympusMons! From screens you posted I can see that the cross showing location of next target changed from blue to yellow. Blue cross means exploration target and you're going to complete it just by reaching it. The yellow cross means analyze where you are supposed to use some instrument to complete it (or example EAS to capture gas and analyze it or soil probe to find more about soil composition). You have to change view to see what instrument the analyze target needs. You can change view in menu that is situated on middle top of your screen. There is a standard HUD (monitor icon), instrument HUD (drill icon) and camera HUD (camera icon). You can change them by a simple click. Cause i'm colorblind and i can't see the difference between green, orange and yellow, and if picture and instruments have two different colors, can we have any way to change ourselves the color ?
