Trying to launch game

Hi Guys,

I just got this sim from a Steam Sale, and got it installed.

When I try to run it, I get as far as the Bohemia Interactive screen before this popup shows:

include file x\cba\addons\common\script_strings.hpp not found.

I uninstalled and tried reinstalling, but no joy. Any idea what's causing this? Hopefully something simple and dumb.

Try applying all the patches and then run the game.

Yeah I seem to be having some trouble starting the game too...no error message though, just goes unresponsive at the B.I. splash upon startup.

I should be patched off, since it came off Steam.

I sent a note to BI's support. We'll see what happens.

I suppose you have A2/OA w/o mods installed as well, since CBA should not be in the TOH 'vanilla' version. How -- i.e. with which .exe -- are you starting TOH?

Your running CBA or another mod that uses it, disable the mod.

Forgive me... what's the CBA mod?

Tech support replied that using mods was buggering this up.
