It was an accident.  It wasn't like they were like, "Oh boy, lets go kill some Canadians". The poor guys probably feel bad about the whole thing and are sorry. I think they should just be discharged from the military for "medical reasons" so that it is not an "dishonorable discharge", or they should just get retrained so they don't make the mistake again.  Which I doubt they will do.<span id='postcolor'> Let me put it this way. Im at a party with my girlfriend, there's drinking. We both are smashed by the end of the evening, and as Im driving her home, I run a red light and hit another car. Im alright, but my girlfriend was thrown from the car, sustained a massive head injury, and is dead 3 hours later. Now, I am heartbroken about this, but it's still my fault, right? Im still going to get brought up on charges, right? What am I going to tell the judge, huh? "But I didnt mean to. I was in a situation taking a substance that alters my judgement and abilitity to make decisions and operate machinery; therefore, it's not my fault." You can tie cardboard wings to a cow, but you cant make that fucker fly. They should be charged, and in my opinion, so should the intel guys who handled the briefing. You cant kill people, and walk away saying "Shit, my bad! Didnt mean to."
