Foxtrop1 10 Posted March 2, 2014 (edited) I was trying to create my own mortar addon, but I'm stucked with same problem that bis had in the past, the mortar flys with the recoil of the weapon. I dont know how to fix it, I dont know if is some physx variable, or something to do with those "weaponfake" or even if its the model. Anyone has a clue? //=solution the mortar NEEDS the recoil animation to work, and a heavy geometry mass. dr_strangepete 6 Posted March 2, 2014 make sure you have a real weight set for the whole model geometry, and also ensure that your recoil animation isn't trying to jamb an object into the earth - if its pushing a object with geometry into the ground they'll collide sending your gun flying (similar thing would happen with my turret when the gun would swing out of phase and hit the ground - would shoot 50m in the air haha) perhaps leave some clearance below the tube (or retract the geometry lod on the lower part of the tube) ? this had worked for my problem (which is similar, as recoil is just another animation of physical objects), but i'd be interested to hear more experienced modellers take on this Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
