Kydoimos 916 Posted February 7, 2014 Is it me, or is this broken now? I can't get units to hold their position, as soon as they open fire, they ignore the setUnitPos... any ideas?
tryteyker 28 Posted February 7, 2014 Because FSM scripts kick in when they see enemies. The AI will start to move around, take different positions, cover, etc. Try out disableAI "FSM".
Kydoimos 916 Posted February 7, 2014 Hi mate, I'm sure I've tried that, but I'll try again! Thanks,
tryteyker 28 Posted February 7, 2014 About the only solution I could come up with on the fly. SetUnitPos is generally best used for static units that you don't expect to hit contacts with though, since, just like other AI commands like lightson, they are overwritten by AI behaviour scripts. Kydoimos 916 Posted February 8, 2014 Hi tryteyker, I've just tried disableAI "FSM" command but didn't have any luck. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Kydoimos 916 Posted February 8, 2014 Hi, cl-claw, thanks for the suggestion, but no help, sorry! That's fine for stopping units and keeping them in place, however.
2nd ranger 282 Posted February 9, 2014 This is a bug that slipped through into both DEV and Stable.
