After january patch, some weapons (mod or vanilla/original ) don't make sound on single shoot.

has happened to someone the same problem?

I try with and without mods .. after the patch .. sometimes i don't hear the sound of shoot of my mates, and sometimes, I hear a continuos sound like empty magazine (click click click). When my mates change the fire rate... I hear the sound.... I can't explain it... but it happens to many.

has anyone encountered this problem?

I checked files on steam, re-downloaded all mods (server and local), but no changes.. seems to be a random thing. (especially especially when using a silencer mod or vanilla)

produce a ticket on the tracker with a good repro and devs will fix it if there is a problem

thanks, but I do not know how to reproduce it? the log does not write anything about this "error."

I just wanted to see if I was the only one, or one of the few. or is it a problem that inflicts many players :)

can you list the weapons that do not make any sounds?

are you launching using any launchers? i.e. PWS

does this only occur in certain missions? or everything?

try downloading JSRS

random, sometimes MX (vanilla) sometimes AK silenced (nato mod) sometimes hk417 12inc (R3f french weapons) m249 (nato)

Start with steam (before the patch no sound problems) - try with arma3sync - no changes

I try to disable jsrs / re download it and fix - with the "game sound engine" is the same..

I repeat after the patch, we play always same missions (enemy assault by ghost /altis stratis) (insurgency) (patrol operations 3.0) etc etc - no changes.

on 10 players in my clan, 4 suffer (random sound stop...)

however i open a report ticket :)

arma 3 without mod in a dedicated server without mod .... No changes.. :)

hmmm ive never encountered this before... try going to dev branch then back to stable

might be an idea, but I did not see anything in the dev changelog that concern the sound (fix or know bug)

I wait the answer of a dev.

if you are on dev version then that might be why mate... there are risks on the dev build.

wait for todays update and see if its any better :-)
