thecoolsideofthepillow 22 Posted January 26, 2014 I've sometimes gotten this problem on 1 or 2 servers, but today it's doing it for all of them, every single time. I try to connect to a server and it either never even begins to load, or loads a little bit then completely stops even accessing the harddrive. It isn't locking up the entire game; I can still hit escape and go back to the server browser. It just refuses to fully load and connect to the server. I've restarted the game, steam, and my computer several times which hasn't helped. I've verified the cache and everything; nothing.
KristofK 10 Posted January 29, 2014 I have a similar problem. My multiplayer will not start. I cant access the lobby. I press multiplayer and then it just crashes...freezes. I have launch options enabled, verified integrity, and even reinstalled the game and still get same problem.

KristofK 10 Posted February 1, 2014 Thanks for the link. I have unsubscribed from all workshop content. Since then, I have done multiple game and computer restarts, though it still freezes when I click multiplayer. So I will try disabling antivirus software and see how that goes. Maybe add an exception into the software?

KristofK 10 Posted February 1, 2014 Got it to work. Disabled antivirus and firewall. Now will try adding an exception into the firewall. I have BitDefender btw.
