T.Flight Stick X Collective raise/lower analoge not working

Evening gents I'm in need of some help.

This is the joystick I'm using.

And I must say I'm very happy with it because it serves me very well in other fligh sims like DCS. But in arma 3 I have this weird issue where collective raise/lower analogue is behaving the same as collective raise/lower so its impossible to stabilize a helicopter or even flying one and the same goes with jets. Are others experiencing the same issues and is there something that I mislooked or forgot to set in my controls?

EDIT: The issue I have with collective raise/lower analogue is that even if I push my thrust only by a small amount the helicopter will continue its climb without stoping and jets will accelerate/decelerate without stoping.

Just checked off-line. It does work. Can go to neutral hover with a positive lift vector.

Very touchy tho even w/max dampening on the sensitivity.

And it's only on the + side of the throttle, thur limiting the "throw" by half.

Using a saitek evo. Gonna try tweaking it to increase the throw range.

Also, dont see a need for 'collective lower' since it drops like a stone without + input.

I'll get back to you...

Hmm, I went into to controller configuration then scheme and choose generic joystick and for some reason it works now

Also for me collective raise/lower works better than analogue.

Ah, so was your stick listed?

So, i added throttle '-' to '+' on collective raise. Same throw for lift, but the '-' side works to decelerate the rate of drop nicely.

Yeah, i got raise/lower on the 2 buttons under my thumb.

I do run full analogue raise for nap of the earth flying for the speed rush.

Gonna fool with incremental lift somemore. think it might be good for low-speed maneuvering.

You do need '-' even though you think you drop like a stone already. Try pulling back on the cyclic stick. Use the angle of attack of your rotating wing above you to counteract the drop of the bird. You will decrease the distance you need to flare to stop dramatically. That is what it is for.

Also it will store up energy if you do this when auto-rotating. You will then switch from down collective to up collective when you are just crossing below 30m above the ground and it should provide a cushioning buffer of lift to stop you from exploding on impact.

Denco, I recommend that you make sure the regular up and down collective are unbound and just use the analogue up and down bound to your throttle correctly. You will find that it is very sensitive to fine adjustments and that the collective angle takes a while before the change is noticeable. It has a bit of lag in the amount of lift it will create after adjustment. Practice makes perfect and given time you will get used to using the full range for maneuvers. You just have to keep in mind most of your flight time will be spent between 70-100% of your throttle with a slight downward angle on your wing to maintain forward velocity and altitude.

hm. I'm not having that issue myself.

Here's a few tips.

1) Make sure you have Collective Up/Down unbound, and manually reset your Collective Up/Down Analogue.

2) in configure > controls > controllers, select your joystick and hit customize. Maybe your dead zone or sensitivity aren't right.
