How do i get a10 to bomb instead of vulcan

I want to know how to make the A10 bomb a target instead of attacking with his vulcan witch is default.

Have the A-10 as flying and group him with you. Make sure you are the leader. Then take out the Laser Designator (Which you need to have with you) and designate the target. Then order the A-10 to target Laser Target. You should be pretty far back because theres a big explosion.

You don't have to have the A-10 LGB in your group, they could be ordered to move to an area via waypoint (I use a Search & Destroy command), and I make them Open Fire at Will (or whatever), and COMBAT mode, and where ever I put my laser, bombs will drop.

Now, I've haven't seen th A-10 LGB use it's guns on any targets after it's bomb load has been used. I've only seen the A-10 with mavericks use guns after all it's Mavs have been used up. I made a little test mission where I was on the top of the tall apartment building in Petrovice, and I had 10-12 bmps/tanks down in the town. I used my laser to target groups of men/tanks and when all the bombs were used up, the A-10 LGB did do any gun runs at all (it wasn't in my group, was ordered to SEARCH & DESTROY over the town and had full skill). But when I had a regular A-10 fly to the town, after all it's mavs are used up, it would start making gun runs on tanks that are still alive, and more often than not, would fly into the tall appartment building, the same one I"m on.

in the Initialization line of the A10 type

this removemagazines "x"

where x is the ammo for the vulcan.

I don't have the name for the vulcan handy right now, but check the Unofficial Command Reference which is posted all over the net. Don't have the link right now.

By stripping the A10 of is Vulcan ammo, it would have to use missiles (in theory). Lemmie know if it works
