Recommended Posts

I download a file from the internet into a new folder. Then I try to put it into a ofp folder, but it says that i need a password to do so. I know I am doing something wrong.

Where do i put the addons and how.

biggrin.gif LOL that is really funny, a password to install an ofp addon.

Eeeh, I think maybe you are using NT/XP and do not have full permission to that folder? Log in as admin?

Hey,

I had the same problem,   But I was trying to put them in the wrong place.  Ok save the addon to your desktop,  then unzip the file.   all you need is the actual PBO file.   But make sure you read the read me file if it is there.  Now once you have the pbo file.  leave that window open but shrink it down.  Now click on the start menu at the bottom left corner of screen.  click on programs,  then codemaster, then Operation flashpoint.  A list of folder should be there now,  like campaings, missions, islands, addons ect.  Depending on what the read me file says open the folder you need to put the file in.  Now keep that window open but shrink it.  Now just slide the PBO file only from the one window into the addons window or where ever you need it.  Again if there is a read me file, it will tell you where to put it.   Thats it.... smile.gif

Also BN880 I have windows XP and it works just fine thanks. tounge.gif
