newbie question

Recommended Posts

I've got an even bigger noob question (and sry for posting this in your thread).

Why can't I post threads?

Says I need to be a regular user in the rules to post threads. I don't get how I am supposed to report troubleshooting issues if I can't post threads.

Sorry for ninja'ing with a question.

Thanks if anybody knows.

how i can play random sp mission?

Need more info.

You can download many SP missions but you still have to select a mission you wish to actually play.

...Why can't I post threads?...

You can't make new threads but you can post in existing troubleshooting ones.

To report problems you should use the feedback tracker

Hello there. For the first question, well there really isn't a real way to play a random mission. You could go to scenarios, where there are usually single missions, of which you can add by downloading some on the workshop or Armaholic. You can also play multiplayer missions on LAN alone with AI, but those are usually pretty difficult without friends.

If you're feeling particularly brave and (like me) find a sort of joy in success after hard work you can always venture into the editor. You can relatively easily make 'go there, kill that' missions and there are plenty of tutorials. The more complex stuff can be a pain, but is extremely satisfying when you pull it off.

As for your question Pindrought, I do think that there is a certain amount of posts you need to have before you can start a thread, but I don't know it. I most definitely do not recommend spamming to reach that limit.

EDIT: Come to think of it, there's also this, but honestly I haven't tried it and can't say how well it works.

With 61 posts your not a newbie poster so this rule must sound familiar:

§21) Use descriptive thread titles

If you start a new thread, please make sure your thread title explains what you want without forcing people to read through your post first.

Thread titles such as "How in the world do I...", "Need help!" or "Will we ever see..." are anything but descriptive. We do not allow these kind of titles and threads with such titles are subject to be closed.
