The player will get an e-mail with the instructions of joining this COOP. The COOPs will be played on saturday's 7PM GMT (London Time). Every body who is ACE/ACRE related will have an oppurtunity to play with commmunity once a month. Further Information will be sended to the players who decided to join this. Time: 7PM GMT (London), 2PM GMT -5 (Eastern) WARNO OP COUNTER JIHAD III: Situation: 1st Battalion, 3rd Parachute Regiment is stationed at FOB Alamo, Sangin. With a high concentration of taliban insurgents in the area, the AO is rather unsafe. After a week of settling, the Para's are conducted their first patrol. Last week, 1st Platoon 3rd Parachute Regiment assaulted a taliban compound. Due to this assault, the roads are now safer to patrol. Today, 1st Platoon continues its patrol from PB London to FOB Alamo. Orders: A COY, 3PARA is tasked with Patrolling roads N of PB London. A. Enemy Forces: Intel suggests that in the past week, around 10-15 armed Taliban fighters were seen around PB London.. The taliban fighters are equipped with old Soviet weapons such as AK47's, RPK's, RPG's etc. Intel also suggests insurgent vehicles will be very unlikely within the AO. B. Friendly Forces: Ground Combat Element: 1x Platoon, (3PARA) Air Combat Element: 1x AH-64D (RAF) 1x Lynx (RAF) C. Wheater / Time: Clear, Visual: 5km + / 0900 Local D. Terrain: Sangin Province, Sangin district. Capital of the province, Sangin district is dominated by a large town surrounded by farmland and sporadic compounds. 2UP Intent: Establish a safe region for the local populance to live in. Gain the hearts and minds from the civilian populance. 1UP Intent: Return to FOB Alamo and secure a possible Cache. Mission: Who: A COY, 3PARA What: Assault/Secure When: 8-08-2013 7PM GMT Where: Sangin, Helmand Why: Ensure a NATO presence in the province of Sangin, establish a safe region for the local populance. ROE Card Charlie (Chief will give a brief about this at the start of COOP) Execution: Phase 1: S/1/1 and S/1/2 Prepare leave from PB London Phase 2: S/1/1 will move N to patrol road , S/1/2 will move E to patrol road. Phase 3: S/1/2 will move through village N to secure possible cache. Phase 4: S/1/1 will move through the town of Sangin back to FOB Alamo Phase 5: S/1/2 will move W directly to FOB Alamo. Support: A: Supply: Standard weapons will be used. All teamleaders are to ensure riflegroup members carry the right amount of ammo/supplies with them. B: Transportation: None C: Services: FOB Foster will be used as a medical area. CAS can be provided by AH-64D, tho the Apache is there mainly to keep overwatch due to ROE Card Charlie. The lynx can be used for MEDEVAC. D. Personnel: All marines are to be in server and ready by 1900 GMT 0 E. MEDEVAC: MEDEVAC will be provided by a Lynx.
