Unable to lock on in multiplayer

I am not able to lock on to aircraft or ground vehicles with my aa or compact titan launcher, but it works fine in singleplayer, help?

Have you double binded the lock-on key to a multiplayer-specific key? Check your controls configs for that.

Target locking can be disabled for servers, either by config or difficulty setting.

this happened to me before, and when I looked at the key binds it was still bound to T, but it was coming up red. so I bound it to Y and that fixed it for me.
