How to downgrade/revert a recent Arma 3 patch?

Is there a way to manually downgrade an update/patch? Apart from the fact that most servers take forever to upgrade, or do not even choose to do so, i want to revert to an older version of Arma III. How would i go about doing that?

Doubtful.

You can prevent an update by disabling auto-update in steam.

To my knowledge, steam does not allow reverts, your only option is to disable auto updates, as mentioned above, you should consider talking to steam support, but good luck

You don't. This is why Arma2 got into a mess, as people you not update, and could be many versions behind!

I think BIS has done the right thing here by going STEAM and not allowing multi versions.
