What is the British protocol name?

Recommended Posts

I need it for the BAF units i'm working on.

I do not mean the voices like Male01ENGB and stuff. I need the actual protocol. (Ex. of a protocol: Language_EN_EP1, Language_PER, Language_GRE.)

Thanks.

For all of them, this is what it is:

LanguageENG_F

LanguageENGB_F

LanguageGRE_F

LanguagePER_F

So you'd put this in the identityTypes[] section of your unit's config i.e. identityTypes[] = {"LanguageENGB_F", "Head_NATO", "G_NATO_Default"};

Ok, I entered this in, but the player unit uses an American voice. How would I set it so that he would always use a British voice. Also, how do make units always use a type of glasses (Like divers for instance.)

It requires changing the speakers to actually use the protocol. Currently, they don't use the British Protocol. Here's the code that makes it work:

class CfgVoiceTypes
{
delete NoVoice;
class Male01_F
{
	name = "$STR_A3_CfgVoiceTypes_Male01_F0";
	voices[] = {"Male01ENG","Male01ENGB","Male01GRE","Male01PER"};
	preview = "Male01ENG";
	alternative = "";
};
class Male02_F
{
	name = "$STR_A3_CfgVoiceTypes_Male02_F0";
	voices[] = {"Male02ENG","Male02ENGB","Male02GRE","Male02PER"};
	preview = "Male02ENG";
	alternative = "";
};
class Male03_F
{
	name = "$STR_A3_CfgVoiceTypes_Male03_F0";
	voices[] = {"Male03ENG","Male03ENGB","Male03GRE","Male03PER"};
	preview = "Male03ENG";
	alternative = "";
};
class Male04_F
{
	name = "$STR_A3_CfgVoiceTypes_Male04_F0";
	voices[] = {"Male04ENG","Male04ENGB","Male04GRE","Male01PER"};
	preview = "Male04ENG";
	alternative = "";
};
class Male05_F
{
	name = "$STR_A3_CfgVoiceTypes_Male05_F0";
	voices[] = {"Male05ENG","Male01ENGB","Male01GRE","Male02PER"};
	preview = "Male05ENG";
	alternative = "";
};
class Male06_F
{
	name = "$STR_A3_CfgVoiceTypes_Male06_F0";
	voices[] = {"Male06ENG","Male02ENGB","Male02GRE","Male03PER"};
	preview = "Male06ENG";
	alternative = "";
};
class Male07_F
{
	name = "$STR_A3_CfgVoiceTypes_Male07_F0";
	voices[] = {"Male07ENG","Male03ENGB","Male03GRE","Male01PER"};
	preview = "Male07ENG";
	alternative = "";
};
class Male08_F
{
	name = "$STR_A3_CfgVoiceTypes_Male08_F0";
	voices[] = {"Male08ENG","Male04ENGB","Male04GRE","Male02PER"};
	preview = "Male08ENG";
	alternative = "";
};
class Male09_F
{
	name = "$STR_A3_CfgVoiceTypes_Male09_F0";
	voices[] = {"Male09ENG","Male01ENGB","Male01GRE","Male03PER"};
	preview = "Male09ENG";
	alternative = "";
};
};

Don't know how to only have a specific type of glasses.
