JohnKalo 657 Posted October 15, 2013 What I would like to know is what to do exactly in certain situations. 1] When you are flying in hostile territory and you accumulate damage and the back rotor has a malfunction, what exactly do you do? The chopper starts spinning around due to the damage and things get pretty ugly especially in multiplayer when other players are on board and they depend on you. Sometimes I just lower the collective gradually and I succeed in landing the medium chopper. Or I try to gain speed so as for the helicopter not to spin around like crazy and I land at high speeds so as to survive. The chopper is ruined but the players are safe. We all come out safely and start fighting on foot. But there are times that the chopper is totally uncontrollable and I crash and all the players are killed. 2] When there is an engine malfunction. I can see via the alarm indicators that my engines have taken damage but that's it. Some times I can just apply throttle, go to someplace safe and land while the helicopter is trembling really badly. Other times I just auto-rotate to the ground. But there are times that I just crash due to the lack of knowledge about the seriousness of the situation and not only off course. So the question that is raised is as follows. How can I possibly know how to react when I see that the engines are malfunctioning? Should I "close" the throttle so as to auto-rotate or should I apply throttle so as to move away from the hostiles? Thanks for spending time reading this. All help will be appreciated.
