swat would be easy to make, just take a black-op (night outfit) stick a helmet ontop of his head, paint it black, give him Rambozos' Mossberg shotgun (w/ his permission of course) and a MP5, or something like a M4 w/ a skeleton stock and there ya go. but if you can find a modeler, make one w/ goggles, knee, elbow, and shin guards cuzz most swat teams have them on. all you would need now would somebody to make some flash bangs

OK, just a couple of quick points:

1. The police chopper is great, but would the police really have a chopper armed with FFARs? Maybe they should be disabled, or maybe a littlebird would make a better police chopper.

2. How about a police motorcyle?

3. Has anyone checked out the Police Makarov in Kegetys East weapons pack?

4. I really think a BRDM in Nogova Police colours would be cool...

The bike textures are really detailed, as in they have reflection textures and everything. With the tools I have it's difficult to turn them white with out making the textures cartoonie, but will have a go.

Great addons!!!

please dont start telling me that its impossible and your talking nonsense but i have a few ideas for future versions...

1.  is for the chopper.  the amount of FFARS should be minimsed to seven because you should take one of the missile holders off...  also the light on top should be changed to a flashing blue...  Also the pilots uniform is too advanced.  It should be something like the same police trousers, but a different shade of green top...  and the helmet of course...

2 is for the trabant.  Obviously a flashing blue light like the one on the jeep is needed.  But what should also be improved is its armour... not so that 500 rounds from an mgun couldnt kill it but just a bit more.  I know Trabants are made of plastic but it should have an inside coating of somesort... tounge.gif

Also here is an idea... why not make a police jeep with a hardtop or closed convertibale?

also police would need a truck so why not reskin a PV35 ammo truck or something...

Sorry to keep going on but here is one last idea:  one of the Resistance ambulances or perhaps a UAZ with Nogovan police colours and a red cross... you would need to create medics though...  Probably just Civilians with white trousers and a white button shirt with a red cross on the back and arms.  Oh yeah and a white red cross field hospital...

just my brain saying stuff.. smile.gif

Edit; ok i just realised my English is appauling in this post... maybe its coz i wrote it at 6:30 in the morning... hmmm

1. It would be unarmed if I could make it that way. I'd do the light if I knew how. About the pilot, I like it, but I've considered making a new one.. maybe.

2. The blue light is needed indeed. The armour, it's just a trabant that they can use to do simple routine patrols and getting drunk people home (or the station). I don't think there's much people shooting the friendly neighbourhood police officer in a peaceful place.

i destroyed the Police Trabant with about 6 shots from my CZ-75, that couldnt possibly happen in real life, i'd love to see the medic Huey in white, like the one off James Bond, The Living Daylights

Would it be possible to grab the standard police body texture from the neck down for the pilot, but leave it from the neck up as is (helmet)...I haven't done any retexturing myself, so I don't know if this can be done.

I think it is, but I don't know about the possible differences of the models on the torso area, as in how the textures "fit".

Yeah, I just checked in the mission editor, there are a few differences in body shape...the pilot has a parachute bundle, the police have a holster...maybe easier just to change the hue of the pilots fatigues to be the same as the police uniform.

The police jeep has lights but only at night, and no siren.

Wish there where some that worked during the day. I think making a large Police campaining for this game woud be awsome.

You could have the police as west and the criminals as east.

Yes but that won't change their behaviour. A campaign can't just revolve around street fighting.

lol... i doubt that a trabant could go any faster... i dunno a faster trabant seems... unrealistic? wink.gif. Im glad you improved the armour but heres another thing. Shooting at any part of the trabant, except the front and the engine, should do it very little damge... although when you shoot through the engine it should blow up in about 6 or 7 shots coz its plastic biggrin.gif. Anyway keep up the good work!

I just changed different things in the config.cpp file in trabpol.pbo. If you want to change stuff yourself DePbo a pbo and the open the config.cpp with Wordpad. There are a few tutorials on configs somewhere.
