Furret 0 Posted October 13, 2013 Other than wait for a potential patch from the developers in the future there isn't much you can do. The ideas given by people in the thread may help people with lower-end hardware but I don't believe they'll help you. You've reached the limits of the game and its engine in its current state. Sorry. Oh, you need to look at SP and MP FPS as separate problems, MP is a whole other issue.
dayglow 2 Posted October 13, 2013 another possibility is that since the GTX 690 is a dual gpu card, it actually only has 2gb of VRAM per gpu, so in reality it only has 2gb. You are running x8 AA in game. You could be running out of VRAM causing the dive in FPS. Try running less AA and see if that helps.
jumpinghubert 48 Posted October 13, 2013 Hi philosophy, please disalbe SSAO and PIP and reduce overall and object visibility to 3000m (both) and report back. Visibility & PIP are cpu dependent and I have to reduce it to 3000m with my 4.9GHZ ivy to get good fps :p Please make shure your sixcore is on full clock ingame and isn´t idling caused by bios settings or something similar.
