arma2zombies 10 Posted September 24, 2013 Hi all, I hate to make one of these threads but I'm really looking for some guidance. My friend has been playing Arma 2 for a really long time and he wants me to get it. He mainly plays the zombie mod which is what I'm mostly interested in too. I will also play the regular game and single player all the way through of course though. My questions are, - Is it worth it to get Arma 2 right now with Arma 3 out? - Are people still playing zombie mod? - Does Arma 3 have a zombie mod yet? Thank you so much for the help. Maio 293 Posted September 24, 2013 1. Arma 2 is still played by many groups. If you are looking to enjoy the base game without DayZ, you still can. I suggest you find a clan or squad to play with though. 2. Yes they are. Just look at the server list. 3. Yes. Zombies and Dynamic Zombie Sandbox

Sexacutioner 0 Posted October 1, 2013 I own both but beyond just trying a few things out in 3 I have went back to 2 for the time being. In a nutshell, 3 does not really seem finished yet. I tried making a few missions to play with friends but too many bugs and things not working as intended led me to keep playing 2. 3 looks really pretty (if not in a closer to mario kart grass sort of way), but for now I think 2 is the most robust and least buggy of them. Also if you are looking for playing zombie mods personally I think Arma 2 has environments that are more toned down and fit the "spooky" environment more than arma 3's high saturated super blue skies and super green grass.
