Nicholas 5 Posted April 4, 2014 I'm also aware of the fact that BIS has, in the past, taken steps to address upcoming technology. Unfortunately, they have fallen behind the curve again. The first article you linked says, "In the long term, the solution to this will be to move to a 64 bit operating system and to compile the game as a 64 bit application," which would seem to indicate that the referenced method wasn't intended to be a permanent solution. This thread is about current generation games, ArmA 3 and DayZ (Read the title). You can't just switch the game to a 64bit architecture with the flip of a switch. Sure, maybe in the future they can completely rwrite the engine for 64bit, but this thread is about now, ArmA 3, and DayZ. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
