Steam workshop: mission won't download

Recommended Posts

Hey all, I've run into a problem with one of my missions. I've published it on the Steam Workshop here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=179318169

But when I try to play it through the scenario's, I get an error message saying that Steam can't download it. All of my other missions work fine, but this one gives me problems for some reason. I've tried updating the mission through the editor, and I have even removed it once and uploaded it again. I have done nothing different from my other missions. Does anyone know what is going on here?

Just tested it mate, it is in my scenarios, but once I press play up pops the error. No idea how to fix it though, sorry. At least you know the error isn't just happening for you.

It can't be the only mission either, can it? There's no weird stuff going on in the mission, so I don't know what could cause a problem such as this.

There are more missions with this problem. Mine couldn't be downloaded, because I accidentally left PNG of the overview picture in the mission folder. It works now. Try to look for some unnecessary files there, they may cause this problem.

Interesting...

All I have in there is a sound folder, music folder, briefing.sqf, briefing.html, description.ext, init.sqf, loadscreen.paa, mission.sqm, and a custom script called TaskPatrol.sqf that I have in other missions and didn't cause any issues there.

The only thing I haven't had before is the music folder with a custom bit of music... But I doubt that could cause the problem.

EDIT:

It seems I have fixed the problem. I fixed a small problem with a task and removed some sound files that I forgot about that aren't used by the mission. After the update I could start the mission properly from the scenarios.
