ryandev00 1 Posted September 10, 2013 (edited) To save on disk space, we'd like to run 5-6 game services from one box sharing the Addons directory. I tried making a symbolic link with mklink /j (also tried /d) and the arma2oaservers.exe process didn't surpass 50mb memory and did not launch. Got the following error (suggesting it did not load the Addons directory at all): Addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CA_Dubbing_Counterattack' Any ideas? ryandev00 1 Posted September 12, 2013 Is this possible?
Coding Camel 10 Posted September 18, 2013 It's definitely possible, just how is the question. From experience, I've been able to run a batch file more than once, and have multiple servers go up. You should be able to have 5-6 batch files routing to different CFG folders, which you can run out of the same arma 2 directory. I'm not entirely sure how you run servers on different IP's from the same box, although it's fairly simple i'm sure.
Overlord 0 Posted September 19, 2013 A name crawling back of my head, Linux. But I guess it's off limit here. You can run multiple servers from same IP, just change ports in cfg. How many you can run simultaneously is just a question of your hardware.
