kalos72 10 Posted September 7, 2013 Hey all, first post here. I just downloaded Arma 2 pack specifically for the awesome DayZ mod and I am running into major FPS issues. Its so choppy sometimes I can even run...so I die...ALOT! :( My PC is pretty old I know but the specs say I should be fine but I am not sure how I can troubleshoot what part of my PC is the issue. Gateway 5224 Processor Intel Pentium D 915 / 2.8 GHz Memory 3326 RAM Hard Drive 250.0 GB - 7200.0 rpm Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 Geforece 9500 GT 1GB Direct x9.0c Now I THINK I have a bad memory stick as it was 4MB(2x2MB sticks) so I assume thats the issue. But I really dont want to spend $100 upgrading my RAM just to find out the rest of the machine is still a problem when I can get a new machine for $500-600. Suggestions on how I can test the performance to make sure the problem is ram?

[frl]myke 14 Posted September 7, 2013 My PC is pretty old I know but the specs say I should be fine No, you're not. Min system requirements say a Dualcore with at least 3GHz and a Geforce 7800. Your CPU and GPU are weaker than that.
