Hey.

I modified the original mission to my desire and i hope you will like it.

It works only in Dev Mode because several reasons.

Actual Version (based on) DUWS 0.73e

What i changed/modded

Enabling new vehicle in player request menu. (Tank/Artillery/Technical/AA-Tank)

Changed listing of items in player request menu.

Adjusted prices of some items in player request menu.

Adjusted command points listing in startmenu.

Added Tank Section and Tank Platoons.

Howto Start

Extract the zip file to C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\Arma 3\missions\

If you want to play on another map rename the directory name from altis to any other Mapname.

(Example: SPMP_DUWSv073c.altis to SPMP_DUWSv073c.stratis or SPMP_DUWSv073c.koplic)

Start Arma3.

Start you Editor. Choose Map.

Load Mission.

Click on "Preview".

Found bugs so far

AI Manned Artillery fire on request but give false Feedback.

If you repeat the last Fire request the AI will fire directly without targeting. So wait until the bugfix from BI is out if you don't want to wreck your HQ.

I realized yesterday that I forgot to comment a debug line for 0.73, inside WARCOM_wp_opf_qrf.sqf if I recall correctly, you may want to do that, unless you want to have "TF derp" as a marker for every opfor qrf :).

Also tested some hour today after your Edit and found some strange issue

When i popup out Tank platoon or Tank (don't remenber name) the game crash when tanks arrive to the waypoint or near it (not sure)

Im not sure if he's when tank arrived on place or something like this(Into red zone)

I do not have any other mod installed and im in Beta Dev version up to date

Hey. I tested it. It's a bug from Arma 3.

Also i found a bug that tanks and heavy tracks (like artillery and MLRS) do Rackdolling and flying high in the air if they drive with more than 30 km/h against a stone or wall or if they collide against another heavy track (regardless of their speed).

You need to wait until a Patch from BI is out.

I'm new to arma and I'm using the dev build of Arma 3 beta. Where should I unzip the folder to? I want to play on stratis so I've renamed the folder to SPMP_DUWSv073.stratis. I've tried unzipping it in the missions folder, the MP missions folder and the main Arma3 folder but when I open the editor and load the stratis map and then click on the load button the only thing that appears in the missions list is <new mission>.

Helicopter Taxi is buggy. It won't land on the dropzone once it picks up the squad, it will keep hovering in the air.

try to export/save the mission in editor as compressed mission. then start it via scenario menu in main menu.

Yes, it worked. However the helicopter Taxi bug is still there. It happens especially when the main base is situated somewhere on stratis airbase. I once played the campaign using the Helicopter Taxi multiple times without any problems and the main base was not on stratis airbase.

can you try out kibot's DUWS in Version 0.73c and test that situation again?

Or give my modded 0.73c version (download link can be found in first post) a try?

To get more commandpoints press during the running mission the escape button on your keyboard and enter following in the debug window on the right side. press after this "Local execute".

I'll now use this version till something new comes up.

I was wrong. It works under some conditions. If the main base spawns right on the runway then it never works, however if the main base spawns away from the runway it works.

Not sure this is a bug with DUWS - might be a BI bug. I ran into it when my HQ was on the Stratis air base way back in 0.6. It happened occasionally, and always when I was *at* the main base on the runway (maybe coded to not allow AI copters to land on the runway?).

The way I got it to land was by ordering my AI squad mates to "get in that choppa' " .. it'd then stop hovering and land.

Yes that is exactly what I do whenever the Helicopter Taxi doesn't work. It's the only way to make the chopper land for pick up. Right now it's working fine as my main base is away from the runway.

Could you add a battery of M4 scorchers (3 manned vehicles) in the units request dialog for 150 CP? I can buy empty scorchers but I can't buy one with all the crew inside or a group of them with all the crew.

Don't bother about the battery, I added it. Just tell me in detail how to manually place the HQ. I'm a rookie and don't know how to do this.
