UAV Laser designator - does it work?

Hi,

playing some warfare (benny) without any other mods with a friend, we tried to use the UAV for laser marking targets and bombing them with an A10.

When my friend laser marks targets manually with the laser designator he can carry with himself it works fine.

Now he tried to do the same with the UAV but my A10 GBU won't find any target.

Does UAV laser designator work in general? What could we have done wrong?

yes it works I have arma 2 and 3 and if you remove all guns he will use it all the time . make sure to have batteries with the lD you can put a gun but he will only pull them out for a heavy target.
