Does Terragen automatically create a SatMap?

Hello Together,

i have a small ask about sat maps.

If i create i fictional map with Terragen for example, does it create a satmap texture or do i have to paint it by myself?

I'm using L3DT, but i think Terragen is working the same way, and yes it will create a satmap texture ;)

Ah thanks, i read some tutorials but i every asked myself where the magical sat texture comes from :D

It's probably called something slightly different. I know in l3dt it's just called 'texture mask'
