Coding 12 Posted August 12, 2013 I want a ~1024x512 image for a mission in loading screen. atm I only try to use TexView 2 in any way... My steps: created jpg file with paint.net with a resolution of 256x256 and saved as .jpg opened TexView 2 loaded the .jpg hit generate generated for a resolution of 128x128 saved as .paa indescription.ext: loadScreen = "HGF\hungergames2.paa"; yes, correct folder and it works with another .paa I created a lot time ago with tial&error on loading screen the picture is completely white... What do I do wrong? I did all like in its manual! Maybe anyone can help me or create a highres .paa here from? I really want to deal with the program but I think it is the last sh**... Sorry! Thats my opinion!
kylania 568 Posted August 12, 2013 Not sure what generate does, I never use that. :) But a 1024x1024 JPG is about half the file size as a PAA, so why not just use the JPG?

kylania 568 Posted August 12, 2013 Only time I really use TexView is when I need PAA files with transparency, like for SquadXML
Gunter Severloh 4087 Posted August 12, 2013 Review this thread, it will give you a better idea on how to work with Textview2: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?112237-TexView-2-woes&highlight=textview2 Its still a useful tool, but theres just a different way to use it as it seems that it dont work like it should directly or alone.
