Narce6 10 Posted August 9, 2013 Very new to Arma, literary got it yesterday. So this could be a very stupid question.. When in game, I go to configure and graphics to see the FPS. It does not move from 30fps and its in yellow? Can you show your FPS on screen while playing and am I only getting 30fps? cause it plays and feels like alot more then 30? nodunit 397 Posted August 9, 2013 Check Vsync to see if it is enabled if that fails reset the options to default. Yellow is a good fps, when it reaches red is the time to worry.
comp_uter15776 1 Posted August 9, 2013 Indeed, Vsync limits your fps to the monitor/screen refresh rate to stop tearing that may occur as a result of desynchronization. Removing Vsync should effectively remove the cap of 30 fps. If it's still persistent, you may want to attempt to lower your graphical settings and then check again.
