Textures disappear on further distance?

Recommended Posts

Heyoh I have just recently found out a little problem with something on my vest and helmet... When a soldier/player is further away, it with making the model low-poly it as well takes away the model's texture?

Here are the pictures marked with red circled on what I mean:

You have multiple Resolution LODs and every one of them definitely has a texture and material applied?

Tried this same test with just one Resolution LOD ?

Yes, to see if its a LOD swapping issue and engine related or if its simply something about your textures and material thats causing it.

Using NEWEST TexView2 to convert your TGA textures?

Ha the problem with my TexView 2 is bigger than that!

When ever I save .paa as .png or .jpg and want to place it back WITHOUT even changing it it says error cant load, tried to reinstall it and its all f'ed up! Sometimes it will only accept .JPG or sometimes IT EVEN WONT! So I simply sometimes cant save my textures whatsoever because it wont open anything, it started to work like that randomly, everything was fine and suddenly bam decided to have a period
