Trouble at installing Patches to Arma 2 OA

I bought Arma 2 OA, downloaded and installed it. But everytime I try to install Patch 1.60 and 1.62, I get that message while patchin (at some files): xdelta3 returned error code: -1073741819

I used Patches from different sites, reinstalled the game, nothing helps. Afterwards, even though I get these errors, the patcher tells me that the patch was succesful.

My System is:

CPU: Intel Core i5 2500k

Ram: 8GB DDR-3

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7870 GHZ Edition

OS: Windows 8 64 Bit

Any help what I can do so the update works? I also can't get on DayZ Servers.

Something is corrupted, I believe. Could be the original download (if it's from Steam, apparently there's an option in the client to verify the game. I think that will likely fail on the patched version, you may need to reinstall & check before patching. If it's OK, back up the entire directory somewhere before patching. If the patch fails, delete everything in the patched game directory & copy back the contents of your backup).

If you downloaded it from somewhere else, check whether the site publishes MD5 or SHA-1 hash values. You can use these to check the integrity of the download, if you still have the original. Use something like "digestIT 2004" to compare published values with the file (check whether published values relate to the zipped or unpacked file).

Similarly, check the patch hashes (from BIS it's usually an MD5 sum). It only takes 1 bit changed to potentially screw an entire program.
