Arma 3 Beta Cannot Create DX11 device E_NOINTERFACE error

Hello Bohemia Forums,

I've been sitting on the Arma 3 Alpha/Beta since it was released. Since then, I've not been able to get it to run, as it will crash to desktop after launching, with an error "Cannot Create DX11 device Error E_NOINTERFACE" (see image below). I've scoured google and the Bohemia forums for anything relating to this error, however have not run across anything except one (thishttp://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?149146-Cannot-create-DX11-device), that hasn't been touched since march (don't want to necrobump).

I have already:

  1. Reinstalled Arma 3
  2. Reinstalled video drivers
  3. Updated to most recent beta video drivers
  4. Have tried a different video card
  5. Am sure I have DX11
  6. have tried the underclocking GPU suggestion
  7. have tried different resolutions
  8. have tried windowed mode
  9. uninstalling/reinstalling Direct X 11
  10. A bunch of other things I can't honestly remember right now

You mention you've tried reinstalling dx11, have you tried running the dx9 setup file?

The one found in arma3/DirectX/DXSETUP.exe

Edit: your graphics card drivers are out of date, you could try updating to 320.49 or 326.19.

Do you have any background programs running which use an overlay (e.g. fraps, teamsspeak, HW monitoring tools, ...)?

It's possible that the overlay is not compatible with dx11 - escpecially if it's an old/outdated version.

It's possible that the overlay is not compatible with dx11 - escpecially if it's an old/outdated version.

I usually run Teamspeak 3, however I've tried running Arma 3 with and without TS3 running in the background, no change. I have TS3's overlay turned off anyway.
