Texture UV coordinates appear distorted after export from 3ds Max

UGH!!! This problem has been a thorn in my side since I've started using 3ds Max. It is the biggest thing stopping me from working on addons.

Same story, I make a perfect model in 3ds Max, export as .3ds, import into oxygen, textures are fine in oxygen, UV layout is still the same, everything is perfect, but once I fire up bulldozer or put the model into ArmA2, the textures appear distorted like the UV coordinates are jacked up or something. I'm assuming the UV compression error listed in the report has something to do with it. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
