Mocaman 10 Posted July 17, 2013 Hi, Looking for help... I can't join any Arma 3 server on a new install on my desktop. The servers I've been trying have green light and low ping (<50), and Steam is on online mode. When I try to join, it waits a couple of seconds, screen goes black and then kicks me back out to the server list with no error message. Previously had the problem of trying to join a server, waiting for several minutes, and then getting the msg 'You were kicked from the game'. I uninstalled and reinstalled yesterday, don't have that problem anymore. At least now I don't have to wait to be disappointed. All the while, I can get on to servers with no problem on my laptop. If it helps, laptop install was an upgrade from alpha, desktop is a clean beta install. Don't particularly want to reinstall again if I don't have to. Any help is appreciated. ---------- Post added at 12:04 ---------- Previous post was at 10:59 ---------- Never mind... problem solved. For any noobs like me, Steam can verify if your install is okay. Go to Games Library, right click on Arma 3 Beta, then Properties, click the Local Files tab, then click 'Verify integrity of game cache'. It will check your install and download anything that isn't right. Fixed it for me. Yay!
terox 316 Posted July 17, 2013 Try turning UAC off, eg run steam and A3 as admin, see if that helps
loowee 10 Posted June 28, 2014 hello sir, I have a problem since 2 months. I used to play in multiplayer on ARMA 3 with my ADSL line but by the 1st of MAy I still have the message "can not connect." Since I use a 3G+ key to play network. My access provider has probably blocked ports. Is it possible to bypass this restriction? With Battlefield 3 there are no worries we get to play without a problem connecting. Do you have a solution? hope to read you soon and resolv my problem.
