GenPattonX 10 Posted June 27, 2013 I know there has been other posts like this, the ones i could find date back from 2003.... which were not useful because the people who replied pasted links to sites that no longer exist .... It's been a long time since i last played the game and i remember that one of my problems when i was editing my missions and campaigns was the caos of addons and mods which would eventually cause error messages, crashes etc. So this time, before i start downloading stuff back again, i would like to know if anybody still knows how to have addons and mods separated and organized, not sure if it in folders, or mod folders.... i dont know plz reply somebody thax in advance and sorry about my english

GenPattonX 10 Posted June 28, 2013 ok i have created a second OPF shortcut, and in the Target area inside "Properties", at the end of the reference i have added the following: -nomap -nosplash -mod=addonstest what i am trying to do is to have one game with the classic addons, and a separate one that loads all other addons i've downloaded, this should work just like when wanting to play a mod, right? So i have followed the instructions from the link that @ProfTournesol posted, and also from what i found here: http://ofp.gamepark.cz/index.php?special=articles/keepitclean.html&newlang=eng But the problem is that this doesn't seem to be working. when i enter the game from that new shortcut, which should load with my downloaded addons, and i go to the mission editor, the addons are not there. I have in the main OPF folder a folder called: addonstest - with my addons there, but the game doesnt seem to recognize. obviously i am doing something wrong. plz let me know
ProfTournesol 956 Posted June 28, 2013 Yup, the addons must be in an "Addons" sub folder into your "addonstest" folder. I hope that sentence makes sense :)
