Sakai 1 Posted June 26, 2013 (edited) Website - http://18gm.shivtr.com/ Teamspeak 3 - 85.236.100.96:12147 Server IP - 70.42.74.174:2302 Hello and welcome! 18th Gvardeyskaya Motostrelki as in English 18th Guards Motor Rifles is a PCDF South Zagorian Tactical Realism unit/Milsim known before as 18.MP of CDF's however we have decided to switch to become a OPFOR unit. We are a South Zagorian unit therefor we operate in slight different way from "USMC" unit as we are OPFOR unit. Being milsim/tactical realism unit we use rank system and command structure in Russian which South Zagoria is based upon however we do not roleplay ranks which means we do not use the "Call me by the rank! "Disrespect me once again and I will make you do BCT)) We believe this is a hideous method in gaming community, we do play as real army but do not take it to this level of seriousness where we ACT as real army. We are serious in trainings and missions BUT fun is important, laugh is why we were created as well, not to create internet wannabe army. What can we offer you? Uniqueness is first we can offer, we are a OPFOR unit which there is not a lot in ArmA 2 community and especially that we are new type of OPFOR which are South Zagorians, reason why this unit was created is to make diversity between ArmA 2 units due mass creation of US Based units. Dedication is second, we are all dedicated to the unit making all different things for it to stand out, commanding officers take care of their member's to make sure they get everything they need, all of us work hard together to make sure we enjoy ourself's from day to day! Fun is third, we are all here for fun, we play for fun and laugh every time, of course when playing on missions we take stuff seriously however jokes will be and can be thrown everywhere, we are mature people not bunch of kindergartens that can't take jokes. Our training and tactics are known to be different from US based units, we have different arrangements and style of play! We mostly play on our Podagorsk MSO we created and work on by ourself's adding few additional stuff to the script and fix bugs. We are fighting against CDF and USMC 18th Guards Motor Rifles as well has a Air Detachment for you pilots! We do not have any age requirement but if you are mature enough you will be accepted without a hesitation! Sakai 1 Posted June 27, 2013 (edited) For anyone interested, We will be playing some mission's for fun for two days which is Friday and Saturday which is 28th and 29th, if you want to play with us and see how it is to play with us because you still think, feel free to! You will need the required modifications posted above! Friday Mission Session has ended with success! 18th Guards Motor Rifles has successfully ambushes and destroy UN convoy which was heading to North Airport with only one casualty from our side! 18th GMR managed to capture one of the enemy BTR-70's as well. We are growing in numbers and have managed to complete our first ever BCT course which is going to be completed today ((Saturday 13th)) as it was half day of it on Friday, we have certain screenshots and videos which I will add to this post later on! Being South Zagorians we have teached our soldiers everything about the AK assault rifles and LMG's and many more stuff however it being our first BCT we cant say it was perfect because beginnings are never good however we learn as we go on!
