Sakai 1 Posted June 21, 2013 Hi there lads, my recent dedi server on a VPS has a certain problem starting a mission and the dedi server does not create any RPT file... Is there anyway to force making it?
MissileMoose 10 Posted June 22, 2013 Which operating system are you using? It sounds to me like a permission issue where the system is not allowing the game access to create or update a new file. If you have Skype, I recommend joining the Linux server group for assistance with Linux.
Sakai 1 Posted June 22, 2013 Windows, however I've got it fixed however kinda annoyed as it makes the RPT for the server in AppData not in game direction, possibility to fix it? ((windows for some reason had arma 2 blocked on firewall but yet allowed it to connect though internet))
MissileMoose 10 Posted June 22, 2013 I'm almost certain that it still isn't possible, but with the recent updates I could be wrong. May I ask what your VPS specifications are?

SavageCDN 231 Posted June 24, 2013 you need to add 2 params to your startup line for the Arma server name=A3Server profiles=c:\full\path\to\your\game\install\dir http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma2:_Startup_Parameters Name - can be anything you like - it will create a folder under \Users Proflies - this will change it so your RPT file is saved to the arma install dir
