Cole_ 13 Posted June 19, 2013 6th Multirole Combat Group Squadron, R.A.A.F Not a power game, not a group of immature kids, just serious fun We are a young aviation based ArmA II unit that focuses on simulating multi role military sorties, operations and exercises. We aim to have every member more knowledgeable after their time in the 6th Squadron about aviation. Our training teaches recruits basic attributes and laws to flight, navigational methods and military routines when in an active combat zone from a veteran flight simmer and ArmA player. As stated before, yes we are an Australian based group and work off the standard Australian timezone, AEST (GMT +10). We aim to make a realistic and mature environment in which we can have fun and not be participating solely in a power game or keyboard warrior styled way. The 6th Squadron utilizes a custom modpack containing several authentically modelled RAAF aircraft. We also use the ACRE mod to somewhat replicate real life aeronautical radios systems. We run weekly deployments every Saturday and Sunday night, with realistically planned fun with other Australian ArmA players. These deployments run for a matter of weeks and are dynamically evolving. The 6thSQN only holds a bare few requirements if you are looking to join. - We have no age limit. We only require matureness. - A working microphone, is necessary for communication. - A copy of Teamspeak 3 and ArmA II:CO. - Passion for realism, and aviation. - Lastly, we expect somewhat a degree of dedication to the unit. (Must attend deployments unless valid reason is given, like work, party etc. We understand life, and we know that not everyone is a 24/7 computer nerd.) If you're interested in joining, fill out our application form at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1KEfHn7bccTJirCpuORXz5IOWQuOdjpSZ9YhftDhAtTE/viewform and then jump onto our Teamspeak 3 server at ts60.bargainvoice.com:7168 We are looking for competent leaders with knowledge in the field of aviation, Cheers, we hope you enjoy our new take on ArmA II realism.
