cotoi 1 Posted May 29, 2013 This is a request for a PAYED advance mission editor. I would like to pay 500$ for a home user VBS licence but that will not help me much since I can't develop missions for arma with VBS. I would realy like to have VBS editor as a payed addon for arma 3, and yes I would pay up to 400 euro, maybe 500. I don't like to troll so would like to know Bohemian's opinion on this matter. Thank you very much.
simon1279 52 Posted May 29, 2013 (edited) I believe this is a kind of "impossible" request,VBS is a simulator for professional and advanced training purpose, Arma (1 , 2 , III) is a game, this is the main difference, you can't pay for to have a feature wich is not possible to be implemented due to different purposes/products, me too, i would like to have the VBSstyle new editor 2D/3D expecially for its 3D awesome feature, wich is way better than the arma one, but if you have so many money to spend why don't you buy a VBS2 license? EDIT: and if you already own one, Enjoy your VBS and keep in mind as you say in post above, VBS is unique ;), and also enjoy your game Arma 3 Edited May 29, 2013 by Simon1279

chortles 263 Posted May 29, 2013 Unfortunately my understanding is that not only is it different companies (BI and BISim) but also different devs, and until recently VBS2 was two engines behind Arma 3... the VBS2 2.0 update ported things over to RV3 (Arma 2/OA/TKOH's engine).
