Aiming unsteadiness (server-side lag)

Understanding the netcode why make aiming infantry weapons not be client-side because server lag influences your'e aim :confused:

Hit detection is client side afaik (which can also lead to quite some problems due to lag).

Just left a server with 35 players getting killed from a 30 degree hill on the other side and it's not AI, possible ?
