Giving "money" a model

I'm talking about something simar to the bags of money that drop in wasteland, except for the stratus life mission we have been developing over at MultiOp gaming. I decided to take on this task, the money is already in the system, I just need to know how to give it a model and be able to drop a specific value depending on how much I have, the same as wasteland, only we don want to use a system already made, we would prefer to make our own. Thanks!
