Nicous 10 Posted April 24, 2013 (edited) Hi everybody! I'm new here, but i can make some basics/moderate scriptings... But i got some problems trying to make a TDM map for arma 2. I want to create a limited area and alternate respawns for earch side. (I know how to make respawns, vehicles respawns, but no an alternate respawn) I saw a time ago a video tutorial, where it show you how to create a TDM mission. But i cant find it anymore!! I tried the search botton but i didnt found anything. Can someone, give me some tips ?! Duplicate the rest… And by alternate respawn you mean just more then one respawn point, then random spawn on one of them, or you want a certain condition in order to respawn on the alternave respawn point? I was searching and i descovered how to make alternate respawns creating more then one marker "base" (respawn_west1, respawn_west2..etc) But i like the idea to put some conditions, how it work ? I saw a video a long time ago, where the guy use markers to limiting the area. When finished, the guy who tried to cross the marker limits, died. Thank you for the help! Tell me what condition you want, then it would be easier to help. and limiting a zone can be done with a trigger. you need to create a trigger and set it to the size you want. set it to "NOT PRESENT". in the on act put: [unitname] setdammage 1; then syncronize\group it with the unit you had in the on act. it sould make it "VEHICLE". set "timeout" and put "10" for min, mid, and max. then go to effects and set "text". and write: "GET BACK! you have 10 seconds or you will die!" or something that idea... now you need to create a trigger like that for every unit you have. just change the "on act", and sync to the unit. place all of those triggers in the same spot, and there you go.
