ARMA 3 through Steam

I have bought the Game Arma 3 and Alpha and i downloaded the game in my steam account ad then when i go to click play it has a inital start up but it wont work for me it says something made it stop working or something like that and i was wondering if someone could help me resolve this problem

Please note yourself the exact error message if you want help. Also write down your system specs (CPU, GPU, Ram etc).

The more and detailed info you provide, the better the people might be able to help. A error description like "something doesn't work" only can be answered with "then probably something is wrong". I think you get the point.

It says word for word......"Arma 3 Alpha has stopped working a problem caused the program to stopworking correctly. Windows will close the program and notify a soultion is available." It wont have a soultion so i dont know what to do to fix this?

I'd also write down whether you're running stable build or dev build, as I've gotten such CTDs on stable build.

one thing that might or not help:

even without arma 3 crashing i get a huge amount of error reports related to appcrash_arma3.exe_acdd......etc etc etc (ive seem 20mb or more, right now i have about 15 of them. i clean with cccleaner from time to time)

maybe if you look into the last one created for you you might get a hint of whats going on.

for me on win8 theyre into: C:\Users\Username\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportQueue\AppCrash_arma3.exe...\Report.we

Example of files inside one of those dirs:

Report.we 10k (plain text)

WER62DF.tmp.appcompat.txt 31k (plain text)

WER630F.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml 7k (plain text)

WER638E.tmp.dmp 25k (compiled code (gibberish))

Maybe zip yours and send do BIS?

I don't believe your graphics card meets the minimum requirements to play the game which is causing it to crash when loading.
