mobile_medic 43 Posted April 18, 2013 You can work around it in some missions b/c after it loads the last save, you can load the one of your choice. But, in coop missions in particular you can often only "suspend" which auto-saves on exit... Which, when I am dead, or stuck inside a rock from the clonky step over mechanics, or slipping into a gap, etc, why would I want to auto save? I want to load a previous save. As a result, all the saves (including in-built auto saves) seem to be useless, b/c I can't load them. Seems like this also goes back to Arma 2... How about let me exit the mission without saving, or ask me first? Spending x amount of time and then having to start the entire mission over (rather than load from last checkpoint, for example) b/c I got stuck in a rock or died, and then was forced to auto save, is not fun. I am aware of the desire to not let folks abuse saves, but it carries a rather obvious side effect. Besides, if I am playing with a friend on a custom mission... play the way you want to. As it is now, there might as well not even be the ability to save. Rather than being forced to save on exit when you are dead, etc.
