Mission editor - intro

Recommended Posts

Ok I'm a noob to the mission editor in this game so I opened it up and started. I selected intro from the right hand side:-

Intro

Mission

Outro - Win

Outro - Lose

Ok so I spent about 4 hours making it learning triggers etc and it isn't amazing but I like it.. Now all I want to know it how the hell do I use it?? I start my mission and it doesn't start.

Somebody told me that i need to make an intro.sqs file and make my intro's using that, but I spent a hell of a lot of time making this intro and all i can do with the script is make the camera spin round and zoom in on the player. sad.gif

So what do i do to get this intro working?

Hi. Well...you've spent four hours making a intro movie tounge.gif To make a mission, and play same; click on "mission".

Here's a helpful site of tutorials; ofpeditingcenter

ps. welcome to the forums, there are some very helpful and knowledgeable people here.

Also check out;TheAvonLady

just scroll down to mission editing, good FAQ.

There are different scripts, commands for multiplay/coop but they all start in the mission editor. Tutorials on multiplayer missions on that first link.

You'll have to use a script or triggers in the mode "Mission" instead. Doesn't always work like you want it to work as you can see here.
