Cant play Arma 2 help

Hi I am having trouble I can't play Arma 2 when I join a server I play for 5-20 min then I get this " Out of memory (requested 1341344 kb). footprint -2094989312 kb. pages 16384 kb." I have googled it and found a lot of ppl having the same problem but no working answer. My PC spec's are far above needed and all drivers are up to date. This does not happen in OA only Arma 2. I played for a long time on my old PC this has only started happening since I got my new PC my old PC had Windows 7 (64) and my new has Windows 8 (64). I hope someone can help this is very bad because I love playing Arma 2. :( I have tried all the easy stuff uninstalling and re running in admin -maxmin 2043 I found lots of answers that don't work for me or the original posters in other forums.

check your virtual memory, I´d recommend setting it to 'automatic'.

Ok at the risk of sounding like I don't know how to do that. How do i do that? If this " Automatically manage paging file size for all drives " is what you mean it is already set to this option.

Is there a dev or something I can PM to get an answer? No one seems to know what this is or how to fix it but nothing seems to help.

I’m running win7, but to get to your virual paging in win7, open ‘Start’ type in 'search program & files' box the top line below: (can't see it being that different in win8)

Performance Information & Tools

then follow below;

'Adjust Visual Effects'

'Advanced'

'Change'

Two figures in the boxes, mine is set as follows; Initial size = 5002 & Maximum size = 5002, click custom to change if you want to.

However first what are the two figures in the boxes you see ? Also gives you a minimum and recommended. But really it should be o.k. if you haven’t altered it yourself..

As I said I use win7 so not sure if it will be anything like this in win8.

It is way dif windows 8 sucks bad I used to have windows 7 and I miss it :(. Any ways I had already tried that and it did nothing for me but thank you for the reply.
